I heard this from an active trader friend of mine the other day. It couldn’t be any more accurate with it comes to working in the capital markets. No two days are alike. Just because something happened before it doesn’t mean that will happen again. This, in my opinion, one of the biggest reasons individual/retail traders and investors struggle. Professional traders and investors have to wake up every morning, look around, and make decisions based on what is taking place around the world in real-time. They have been nimble and ready to change their thesis and plans on a moment’s notice.
